The Challenge

In the past three years, Northwood Realty has had to replace software solutions they were using that handled internet lead management, relocation management and back office accounting. Being a large real estate broker with 38 offices and over 1000 sales associates serving Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio, accomplishing this was no small task.

Gil Kite, VP of Relocation and Internet Services, met the LanTrax team at a trade event and quickly realized that they provided systems that could help Northwood Realty Services into the future.

“Our first need was to replace our internet lead management system since our old vendor was going out of business," said Gil. "We needed a system that was easy to use and could handle the volume of leads we were managing.”

The Solution

In June of 2007, Northwood decided to go with LanTrax’s Lead Management solution, LeadTrax. Since then, Northwood has been able to more

efficiently keep track of all their internet leads, which agent was assigned to the leads and who is doing a good job of converting.

“With LeadTrax I can run all different kinds of reports including how many referrals we’ve received and from where. What agents do a great job converting? Who is late with updates? And with Business Rules I can be creative as I want customizing when updates are supposed to be given.”

With the success of LeadTrax, Northwood decided to be one of the first clients to use LanTrax’s Relocation management system, RelocationTrax.

“RelocationTrax is just as flexible and adaptable as LeadTrax which was very helpful when determining how to set it up. If our business changes, we know that RelocationTrax can handle the changes.”

In December of 2009, Northwood Realty Services began implementation of Profit Power, the leading back office accounting software used by many of the top brokers in the country.

The Challenge

As sales slowed in the national real estate marketplace, Carolina One wanted to do more with less. The company looked to increase its efficiency by eliminating manual processes where possible, utilizing automation, and finding ways to link software systems together.

“We were trying to find the best ways to place our resources,” said Carolina One Information Technology Director Les Sease, whose IT staff had been cut, and was stretched to meet the demands of more than a dozen offices and managers.

The Solution

In 2007, Carolina One implemented LeadTrax, LanTrax’s lead management software. LeadTrax allowed Carolina One to get a handle on its Internet leads and provided tracking and agent accountability.

“We can now track the leads that are coming through,” Sease said. “We know how many come in, we have a central person that is responsible for Internet leads, and we have a mechanism for reporting to give feedback to managers and upper management.”

In December 2008, Carolina One partnered with LanTrax to manage its company intranet after the original developer ended its relationship with Carolina One.

“LanTrax was able to step in where our other developer left off, pick up the pieces, and put them back together in a fashion that worked for us. They were able to transform the intranet and make it a hub of everything that goes on. LanTrax has been a good partner. We can get somebody on the phone very quickly and can usually get an answer to a question very quickly.”

The Challenge

RealtyUSA is the largest independent real estate company in New York State with more than 60 offices, including offices in Northern Pennsylvania.

With such a wide geographic area of coverage, RealtyUSA’s web site was a vital component in generating property inquiries and sales leads. However, the company had no mechanism to track what was happening to the leads generated by their company site once they were assigned to their agents.

RealtyUSA was in need of better lead tracking, agent accountability, and comprehensive reports to provide transparency and provide management with a better insight into its lead management process.

The Solution

RealtyUSA had been using Profit Power as its back office solution and reached out to LanTrax to improve its lead management process.

RealtyUSA implemented LeadTrax, which integrated with both the front-end website vendor and Profit Power and provides the reporting and oversight RealtyUSA required.

“I look at it as one-stop shopping,” said RealtyUSA Chief Information Officer Kevin Durawa. “Our accounting system works hand-in-hand with the lead system, which also works hand-in-hand with our web vendor to have seamless integration between all of these products. LanTrax has brought all of these people together to provide a smooth integration in all of our technology services.”
